"Lil Signers"

Provides a great introduction into the world of American Sign Language. When a child learns sign language they are strengthening both sides of their brain. The right side for visual/motor skills (signing) and the left side for oral language skills. Learning ASL and finger spelling is multi-sensory, it combines both doing and seeing. The children see, hear, and move their body. Eye/hand coordination and small muscle development are greatly enhanced. Learning ASL is a high-interest activity that improves attention, self esteem, sensitivity to others and provides for inclusion of special populations. It is a fun way to engage young children in the learning process.

"Lil Bookworms"

Uses a grant winning program developed by one of our staff members that brings quality literature to life through puppetry, flannel board stories, song and hands on materials. Literacy skills incorporate reading, writing, listening, viewing and speaking. These early years set the foundation for ongoing development of literacy.

"Lil Songsters"

Uses a research-based curriculum that incorporates music and movement. The curriculum was designed by an educator to help meet the criteria for developmentally appropriate activities specific to early childhood music.
